Vihiga Governor Wilbur Ottichilo has warned county executives against leaking crucial information and documents to the media.
Addressing Members of the County Assembly yesterday, he said those who will be caught doing so will be dismissed and face the full force of the law.
“I take this opportunity to warn the staff leaking government documents to people and on social media to stop forthwith,” he said.
He said social media sites have been awash with propaganda on the performance of his administration, adding that some allegations were scaring away investors.
The county boss said the County Assembly has a crucial role of oversighting the Executive in the implementation of development projects.
