Dare to have a walk

Under normal circumstances, bridges are meant to help people and vehicles to cross from one side to the other. However, the glass bridge at the Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China might be the most terrifying bridge in the world. The bridge which is about 430-meter-long, 6-meter-wide, hovering over a 300-meter-deep valley is paved with transparent glasses, and can accommodate up to 800 people at a time. The bridge is for the bravest, or better said, the craziest tourists on this planet. It gives tourists the impression that they are literally walking across the sky. The glass bridge does not only serve as a walkway but allows tourists to go bungee jumping and zip-lining off of it as well. (Text and photos by Xinhua)
