Red cross to spend Ksh.20M in sinking boreholes in Malindi

Lamu county is set to benefit from various water projects initiated by humanitarian agency Kenya Red Cross. The agency plans to spend an estimated 20 million shillings to ease the water crisis in the archipelago which has been grappling with a shortage of the commodity. KRC plans to spend five million shillings to drill and construct two boreholes in the hindi sub-county.
