Kenneth to vie for Nairobi Governorship as an independent candidate

Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth has formally quit the jubilee party and declared his intention to vie for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat  as an independent candidate.

Kenneth  who lost in the Jubilee nominations to Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko accused the  party of failing to ensure free and fair nominations terming the exercise a sham.

Kennath made his declaration as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission directed political parties to present missing details from their list of nominees by Sunday May 21st.
