President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party has lost two aspirants in Isiolo; incumbent Godana Doyo and Senator Mohamed Abdi Kuti.
Moments after Doyo decamped to Party of Development and Reforms, Kuti tendered his resignation letter to secretary general Raphael Tuju.
In the letter, Kuti said he will not participate in today’s governor nomination process and sought that his name be deleted from the ballot papers.
“I am now tendering my resignation from Jubilee Party with immediate effect,” said Kuti.
He was slated to battle it out for the Jubilee ticket with Doyo and former Tarda chairman Abdul Bahari.
