Born in Eastlands, Gathegi, who grew up in California, is one of Kenya’s successful thespians on the international stage. He has featured in numerous acclaimed Hollywood motion pictures such as The Blacklist, CSI Miami, Twilight Series, Veronica Mars and X Men:First Class.
His first professional role was in 2006’s film Crank, where he appeared as the Haitian Cabbie. StartUp is his latest television appearance.
