Civil societies want gov’t to impose punitive measures on child traffickers

With Kenya having been mapped as a source, destination and transit for trafficking, key stakeholders in the children’s sector have expressed concern about the rising cases of child trafficking in the country.

Speaking during a conference in Nairobi, members of the Civil Society have called on the government to address the push and pull factors and social determinants that make children vulnerable to trafficking.
