Is King Kaka’s new video too explicit?

I’m sure many of us have listened to the new track by King Kaka featuring Kristoff and Magix Enga known as Dundaing. The song is quite catchy and entertaining, not mentioning the video, which has attracted a lot of controversial reviews and social media backlash.

You see, it was rumoured that Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO, Ezekiel Mutua, had ordered the video to be taken down from Internet platforms because of its ‘explicit’ nature, and indeed it was taken down from YouTube.

A few days later, however, the video was uploaded back on the platform on unclear circumstances. Rumour mill also alleged that King Kaka could have pulled a publicity stunt, by deliberately directing the video to be taken down just to publicise his much anticipated launch of his upcoming album Eastlando Royalty on November 30. Our efforts to reach both the Kaka Empire team and KFCB to comment on the developments were in vain.

On the night of his album launch, the rapper said on his social media pages, one random fan would be chosen for an all-expense paid holiday to Dubai courtesy of Trippy Tours.
