High court halts the suspension and vetting of procurement officers

The high court has temporarily suspended the enforcement of a  government circular directing procurement officers to vacate office and undergo fresh vetting.
This is after political activist Okiyah Omtatah moved to court to challenge the circular arguing it was unconstitutional.
Justice Onesmus Makau while certifying the matter as urgent  directed the petition be served to the respondents among them head of the Public Service Joseph Kinyua and Attorney General Paul Kihara.
