Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho yesterday announced he no longer has differences with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Joho, who had received Baringo Senator Gideon Moi in his office, said he is looking forward to welcoming President Kenyatta in Mombasa. The Baringo senator had paid a courtesy call on Joho and termed the visit as a continuation of “building bridges”, an initiative started by the President and Nasa leader Raila Odinga.
Addressing the media at Joho’s office, the duo said the meeting was purely on forging a working partnership on matters of national inclusion and cohesion.
“We will tour the whole country and we will be talking matters inclusion, matters corruption and matters empowerment of our young people. Its all about building bridges and walking the talk,” said Gideon.
He said he and Joho will be touring the country together to preach unity and peaceful co-existence among Kenyans.
