Musa’s ex Sakina says she has no hard feelings after former Gor captain marries her best friend in Nairobi

The ex of Harambee Stars defender and former Gor Mahia captain Musa Mohammed, Sakina Nshirimana says she has no hard feelings after the football star married her close friend Asha Abzeid Mohammad in a invited guests-only Muslim wedding in Nairobi last weekend.

Sakina, speaking to Wikendi Sports from Bujumbura in Burundi where she moved to with her two kids after breaking up with the football star over a secret affair with her friend Asha in late 2016.

The wedding was attended by close friends and family members including Musa’s elder sister Zarika Mohammed who is a professional boxer.

“I have nothing personal on the two. The wedding is not a surprise for me and it is not painful like when I found the duo’s secret affair in 2016,” said Nshirimana who is a former tennis player at Sadili Oval in Lang’ata.

Nshirimana said: “ I found love texted messages on my husband’s phone and even found female clothes in his car. That was too much for me given that Asha was my friend as we used to go out together with our spouses, so I decided to walk away from the relationship and go back to my home country Burundi.”

She added: “ When I left, our second born was one month old and now he is almost two years. I can say I have healed and no longer bitter with Musa. He even calls regularly to talk to the kids.”

Sakina who has joined the Antante Sportive Club in Bujumbura where she plays tennis, claims Asha previously had a relationship with another local football star who was a close friend to Musa as well.

Musa, who is currently a free agent after terminating his contract with Albanian side FK Tirana, did not want to comment on the issue.
