Luqman Petroleum has opened a new service station in Mlolongo, Machakos County which will also serve as a training center for automotive mechanics in its outlets.
The new outlet brings to a total of number of service stations owned by Luqman to seven.
The firm which began operations in 2010 as an Oil Marketing Company licensed to undertake the import, export and wholesale of petroleum products, also has operations in Uganda and South Sudan, segmented into retail sale of petroleum products and services, bulk sale of petroleum products as well as transportation of petroleum products.
Bulk sale of petroleum is done regionally to Uganda and South Sudan. We have a large fleet of well- maintained Mercedes Actros trucks that deliver clean fuel to all our customers.
The firm’s director Asad Mohammed said the move is aimed at bringing convenience to motorists using plying the busy Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
“Our retail business is actualized through our service stations operated under our brand LUQMAN. We currently operate seven stations in various counties which include Kilifi, Nairobi, Eldoret and Machakos. We guarantee good quality fuel, excellent customer service and value for money to all our customers which is delivered by our able team of motivated, well-trained staff,” he said.
The company further targets to grow its market share by expanding our network through acquisition of seven more stations in the next two years in the region and tap to other markets in DRC and Rwanda.
