Pres. Kenyatta arrives in Kigali for signing of the AFCFTA

President Uhuru Kenyatta this morning arrived in Kigali Rwanda where he is joining other african leaders in the signing of a landmark pact  aimed at creating  a continental free trade area bloc. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) treaty aims to establish a single market that will spur industrialization, infrastructural development, economic diversification and trade. The plane carrying the president touched down at the kigali international airport shortly before 9.00 am (kenya time). He was received at the kigali international airport by Kenya High Commissioner to Rwanda ambassador John Mwangemi and senior government officials from Rwanda.
