Former Amani National Congress (ANC) secretary general Godfrey Osotsi has dismissed as daydreamers those “holding night meetings” to plot the party’s exit from National Super Alliance (Nasa). Osotsi said the Musalia Mudavadi-led party founded the alliance, adding that there is no way a few individuals can hold secret meetings and succeed in pulling it away from the opposition alliance.
Otsotsi said if ANC has to quit Nasa, such a decision can only come from the National delegates summit. “ANC is the founder of Nasa under the leadership of party leader Musalia Mudavadi.
I want to warn those who are secretly holding meetings in hotels planning to pull out ANC from Nasa that they will not succeed,” he said. “The matter of ANC party is with the party tribunal and we shall not allow blatant action by a few people to mislead the party leadership,” he added.
