Jubilee Party will use its numerical strength in Parliament to come up with electoral reforms that will end vicious cycle of violence that rocks the country after five years, Majority Chief Whip in the National Assembly Benjamin Washiali has said.
Speaking during a funds drive in aid of St Benedict Anglican Church of Kenya in Kipkenyo area, Uasin Gishu county on Sunday, the Mumias East MP assured Kenyans that comprehensive electoral reforms, that will be acceptable to all, will be in place before the 2022 poll.
“We will involve all stakeholders when making laws related to elections to come up with a document that will be acceptable to all,” he said. He urged the Opposition to soften its swearing in stance and join the government in improving living standards of Kenyans.
