Mbuvi poised for government job?

With some artistes in the region moving from music to politics, others are said to be eyeing government posts, and gospel singer Mbuvi could be one of them. The Kwata Kawaya hit singer is a close associate of the Kenya Film and Classification Board CEO, Ezekiel Mutua, and last week, the two were spotted ‘flocking’ together during an explosive gospel concert in Nairobi dubbed Kaswii Chronicles, a project that Mutua confirmed government’s support through the Sinema Mashinani project.

It does not end there though, as little birdie chirped to PD Wikendi that Mbuvi could be one of the appointees expected to land a position in the government through the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts.

While speaking to PD Wikendi, however, Mbuvi denied about the rumoured job posting, saying that he was just a “good friend” to film board honcho and that the two have been working together for quite sometime.
