Infinix Mobility has launched Infinix Zero 5, its newest flagship mobile phone model, in the Kenyan market. The phone that comes in black, gold and red colours was launched mid November in Dubai in partnership with local e-commerce giant Souq.com.
In Kenya the device will be sold exclusively on Jumia Kenya at Sh26,999 for Zero 5 and Sh29,999 for Zero 5 Pro. Global Head of Infinix, Benjamin Jiang, said the company hopes to take smartphone photography to a level where it bridges the gap between amateur and professional photography.
He said: “The Zero series at large has been our flagship product globally by virtue of its innovative features and validates our research and development prowess.
It has witnessed brilliant performance in key global markets such as Middle east, Africa, south east Asia.” With its innovative design, incredible dual camera, 2x Optical zoom and overall performance, the Infinix Zero 5 bridges the narrowing gap between smartphone and tablet.
The new device is geared towards meeting the middle class consumer demand for the dual-camera smartphone segment. Using Android’s Nougat operating platform, the Zero 5 boasts an optical zoom dual camera and 16 MP front-facing cameras, rear fingerprint scanner and protective screen features. Infinix Zero 5 is the latest product in the Zero series after the launch of Zero 4 in 2016.
