Jahmby Koikai: I feel encouraged by people’s love

Ailing celebrated Kenyan reggae emcee and media personality Jahmby Koikai, popularly known as Fuyaa Mummah, is elated with the love Kenyans are showing her, as she continues to raise funds to enable her undergo surgery.

The medical procedure will be seeking to rectify a condition known as Endometriosis, which she is suffering from. However, a colossal sum of Sh10 million is needed for the surgery.

In spite of all this, Jahmby has shown positivity towards the issue. “God’s faithfulness is supreme. God is real. I have angels in my life. People who are here loving me and taking care of me. People who are calling me over and beyond to encourage me.

People texting me sharing their strength with me. People who are fundraising for me. Reminding me that we will soon get help,” she says. At the same time, she is calling for more awareness on the medical condition.

With a lot more people showing love to Jahmby, already there is a plan next week by a legion of artistes and other public figures to hold a charitable concert, that will seek to raise more funds.
