A Naivasha trader has petitioned Nakuru County Assembly to investigate Governor Lee Kinyanjui over alleged abuse of office. Dominic Kinyanjui has also questioned the move to appoint Benjamin Njoroge as the County Secretary claiming that he is not fit to hold office.
Already, the governor has three cases pending in various courts after he suspended some workers and sent others on compulsory leave when heassumed office three months ago. The High Court has, however, suspended the directive though most of the workers who served under the former Governor Kinuthia Mbugua are yet to resume duty.
The petitioner is questioning the manner in which the governor appointed the county executives. He alleged his efforts to seek assistance from the County Public Service Board have failed.
