IEBC declares President Kenyatta winner of Oct’26th repeat poll

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been declared the winner of last week’s repeat presidential election, securing a second and last term in office pending any appeal disputing his victory.

IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati who declared the poll as difficult, but free and fair, announced Kenyatta the winner of the poll, that was boycotted by the main opposition coalition- NASA, after garnering 7.4million votes.

In his acceptance speech, Kenyatta described the victory as a re-validation of his August 8th win.
