On Friday, November 3, the Alchemist Bar in Westlands, Nairobi, is throwing a party to thank all their Kenya Nights supporters. Deejays Kace, Imran and LA Dave will be rocking the free-to-enter party from the wheels of steel, serving nothing else, but old school music, Hip hop and House. The party will kick off from 6pm-5am. – Friday

Safaricom Jazz is a one-way ticket to happiness.

On Saturday, November 4, at the Uhuru Gardens along Lang’ata Road in Nairobi, talented Senegalese vocalist and bassist, Alune Wade, will be the leading act at the Safaricom Jazz Lounge concert.

New York-based Jazz singer and composer, Kavita Shah, will also be part of the line-up alongside two Kenyan bands; Mambo Tribe and the Limericks that will showcase the growth and talent in the Kenyan Jazz scenes.

Get ready to be jazzed. Proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to the Ghetto Classics Music programme based in Korogocho. Tickets available on safaricomjazzfestival.co.ke at Sh2,000 and Sh500 for students with ID. Gates open at 6pm as show starts 8pm to midnight. – Saturday

ESCAPE FROM WONDERLAND

The Halloween Festival continues to indulge fans in uniqueness of the global celebrations. This Saturday, October 28, at the Tree House on Museum Hill in Nairobi, get ready to enjoy all the spookiness Halloween has to offer.

The theme will be ‘Psycho Circus’ and there will be lots of music, enhanced stage designs, ghouls and goblins disguises and other spooky characters that you will love. The party starts 6pm-6am. Entry fee is Sh1,000 at the gate. – Saturday

The Safari Sevens is returning from November 3-5 at the RFUEA Grounds along Ngong Road in Nairobi. The teams that will be participating in the annual rugby are Kenya, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Samurai, Rwanda, Fiji and South Africa.

The three-day tournament, which has always been a thriller, promises to offer big fun for your family and friends. For Saturday and Sunday, regular gate charges are Sh1,500 and Sh3,000 VIP. A regular season ticket is going for Sh2,500 and Sh5,000 for VIP. – Saturday/Sunday

BRING BACK BLACK RHINO CHARITY BALL

The Bring Back Black Rhino charity ball represents a unique opportunity to dance ballroom with a Strictly Come Dancing professional. This is in the support of the Laikipia Vision to develop rhino conservation as a landscape management tool.
