Tell us about yourself

My name is Michelle Kendy. I am 10 years old. I go to Green Cottage Academy in Kahawa West and I’m currently in Class Five.

When did you start doing acrobatics?

When I was three years old. I just started doing moves such as somersaults. My parents did not like this because at one point I broke my hand. They discouraged me from doing the moves but I would not stop.

When my parents noticed that I had a talent, they started nurturing it. You are also a model, tell us about that I started modelling when I was five years old.

I liked how models walk and dress. In 2015, I participated in Little Miss Kenya contest where I emerged first runners up and also won the best talent category.

Who trains you on acrobatics?

When I won the best talent category for showing my acrobatic skills during the Little Miss Kenya competition, I got a scholarship to train at Sarakasi Dome in Ngara.

Where do you showcase your acrobatic skills?

During beauty pageants, in school, and sometimes I am invited to perform at Kenya National Theatre.

How do you balance school and acrobatics?

On weekdays I focus on my studies, and train during my free time.

I love maths, I just enjoy it.

What are your other hobbies?

I like dancing and swimming.

At Thika Road Mall (TRM). I really like the games they have.
