Most straws in mouth

The most straws stuffed in a mouth (with hands off) is 400, achieved by Simon Elmore, who held them there for 10 seconds at the Mark ‘n’ Simon Show, Sollhuben, Bavaria, Germany, on August 6, 2009.

Blowing out candles by breaking wind

Gerard Jesse of the Philippines broke a world record by breaking wind. Jesse was captured in a video blowing out five candles with a series of farts, aided by a long tube and well… a very brave friend.

Woman sniffed 5,600 feet!

Madeline Albrecht of Cincinnati, Ohio, knew she was set for greatness when she realised she had an odour tolerance that could enable her withstand abhorrent smells. She holds the world record for most feet sniffed after sniffing 5,600 feet and armpits!

Speech lasted five days

In 2004, Lluis Colet was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for longest speech. His speech lasted 48 hours. Not long after, the record was beaten by an Indian man who delivered a 120-hour speech, so Colet decided to reclaim his prize, this time by talking for a 124 hours!

The Catalan and local government worker spoke non-stop for five straight days and 4 nights to set the record in the southern French town of Perpignan. Three notaries were on hand to recognise the feat which allowed Colet to enter the Guinness Book of Records.

Munching cockroaches

Ken Edwards of Glossop, Derbyshire, England ate 36 cockroaches in one minute on the set of The Big Breakfast, London, England on March 5, 2001 to get to the book of records.

Stuffing 11 rattlesnakes in mouth!

There is in fact, a world record for the most live rattlesnakes held in someone’s mouth at once! That record is 11, and it belongs to a man named Jackie Bibbiy. How about use of nose to type?

A man named Mohammed Kursheed Hussain can type 103 characters in 47 seconds – with his nose. And that’s the Guinness World Record for that unique and oddly useful talent.

43 snails on head

Fin Keheler, an 11-year-old from Utah, nabbed the stupid Record for Most Snails on Face. On his 11th birthday, he allowed friends and neighbours to cover his head with the slimy creatures, who stayed there for more than 10 seconds. They sent the record off to Guinness, and the boy was enlisted for his “achievement”.

Crushing watermelons

The fastest time to crush three watermelons between the thighs is 14.65 seconds and was achieved by Olga Liashchuk at the Mediaset Studios in Milan, Italy, on June 26, 2014.
