Mary Mary live concert

Ngong Racecourse Waterfront and Golf Park will today from 3pm to 10pm host popular American gospel gospel duo, Mary Mary, who will be performing live for the first time in Kenya.

The group consists of sisters Erica Atkins-Campbell and Trecina Atkins-Campbell, known for their hit singles Shackles, I Worship You, Walking, God In Me and Go Get It, among others.

On the decks will be DJ Mo and DJ Gee Gee, while performances alongside the duo will be by Willy Paul, Jessica Dorsey, Ivlyn Mutua, Jimmy Gait and Joyce Omondi.

Carol Bertogal from the UK will also be headlining. Regular early bird tickets are going for Sh1,500 VIP early bird tickets Sh2,500, advance regular tickets Sh2,000 and advance VIP Sh3,000. At the gate, regulars will pay Sh2,500 and VIP Sh3,500.


The 17th edition of the Koroga Festival is here! Going down today and tomorrow 2pm to 7 pm at the Carnivore Grounds, the two-day festival features: Deejays Zinhle (SA), Joe Mfalme, Slick, Drazen and Mikhail Kuzi today. On Sunday, entertainment will be by deejays Andre and Protégé.

Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz will be the headlining artiste. Also performing are Kidum and Le Band. Saturday advance tickets are going for Sh1,000, Sunday advance Sh2,000 while seasonal tickets are Sh3,000. Only 18-plus will be allowed at the festival as proof of ID will be required. – Saturday-Sunday


P&M Entertainment has organised a mega wild party at Karura Forest on June 3 from 12pm to 5pm. The party in the park dubbed, Respect Mother Nature will be hosted by Violetta and Samora, while performances will be by Khaligraph Jones, Naiboi and The Kansol.

On the decks will be deejays Crème de la crème, Hassan, Burn and Wisdom. Advance tickets are Sh1,200, at the gate Sh1,500, VIP Sh3,000 and VVIP Sh7,000, inclusive of food and cocktails. – Saturday


The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and 24:7 Entertainment have organised the third edition of Artfest, art in the wild, which celebrates all kinds of art.

This year’s event will be held at KWS headquarters on June 4 and will feature 2016 People’s Choice Awards Winner – awards to honour artists who demonstrate creative excellence through promoting awareness in biodiversity, conservation of endangered species through art.

Apart from the artistic bliss showcasing, there will be entertainment, game drive, safari walk, kids corner as they indulge in varied cuisines. Gates open from 10am till 6pm. At the gate, entry fee will be Sh1,000 while advance tickets cost Sh500. – Sunday


Head Cornerstone Entertainment has organised a major street fusion live performance on May 31 at Carnivore Gardens. Live performances will be by Damian “Jr Gong” Marley alongside Wyre, Khaligraph Jones and Jua Cali and back up by the Roots Connection Band.

In charge of music vybes for the night will be deejays Moh, Kace, Crème de la Crème, Muzikal Sheriff, Brownskin and Double Trouble. Gates open at 6pm.

Early bird tickets will be Sh1,000, regular advance tickets Sh1,500 and VIP Sh4,000. At the gate, regular tickets will go for Sh2,000 and regular VIP Sh5,000. – Sunday


Nairobi will for the very first time hold the Nairobi Golf Festival at Ngong Racecourse and Golf Park from May 31 to June 3 starting 2 pm. Seasonal tickets are Sh3,000, day tickets Sh1,500 and non-residents will part with Sh5,000. Friday-Sunday
