High Court to rule on bid to release Rogo’s widow on bail

The widow to slain radical muslim cleric the late Sheikh Aboud Rogo will be spending her second night in police custody after she was arrested over links with three women who staged a botched terrorist attack on the Central Police Station in Mombasa.
Mombasa resident magistrate Emmanuel Mutunga ordered that Haniya said be detained in police custody to allow him more time to study an application by the state seeking to have the suspected detained for 14 days pending the conclusion of investigations into her links to the sunday attack.
The court is expected to make a ruling on the matter on 16th September.
