Samsung has announced that it has begun mass-production of Exynos 7 Quad 7570 SoC, aimed at budget Smartphones. The unique selling point for the processor is that it uses 14nm FinFET technology, which is mostly used by the processors in high-end Smartphones.
The chip is also the first Exynos offering to come with all wireless systems integrated.
The Exynos 7570 SoC further reduces the total chipset size by up to 20 percent, which Samsung says will give manufacturers better opportunity to create slimmer Smartphones.
The Samsung Exynos 7570 processor is capable of supporting screen resolutions up to WXGA (768×1366 pixels), record and playback of videos in Full HD and support for up to 8-megapixel front and 13-megapixel rear camera modules.
It also sports an improved image signal processor (ISP).
