President Uhuru Kenyatta’s 2017 re-election vehicle, Jubilee party has held its first convention ahead of the party’s formal unveiling on Saturday, 10th September.
Delegates of the new Jubilee party endorsed president Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto as party leader and deputy party leader respectively.
Deputy president William Ruto who gave the keynote speech on the first day of the convention. Pitched for president Kenyatta’s re-election in the 2017 general election saying the country has achieved an unprecedented growth under his tenure.
