Edulink College partners with The University of Northampton, UK

The Commission for University Education (CUE) has granted The University of Northampton, UK, authority to collaborate with Edulink International College Nairobi (EICN) to offer a range of University of Northampton Business programmes, at Foundation and Undergraduate levels starting this month at its Nairobi Campus.

The Edulink International College will help Kenyan students achieve their educational goals by offering quality UK Degrees from The University of Northampton.

Students and their families will also reap further benefits by studying in Nairobi by eliminating the need for overseas travel and greatly reduce financial and psychological costs that overseas education incurs. The college was established in 2014 by Edulink Consultants head office based in Dubai, which manages several higher education institutes on three continents.

Edulink Group Academic Director Helen Mason, during the Edulink Open Day, expressed appreciation to the commission for its recognition in efforts to support the attainment of Kenya Vision 2030 development strategy by investing in the country’s education sector.

KenyaVision 2030 economic development programme aims to increase prosperity of all Kenyans by achieving an average Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate of 10 per cent per annum in the next 15 years. “Collaboration with strong academic partners is the key to Edulink success.

Our mission is to deliver world-class higher education to developing communities around the world. We make this possible bymaking access to quality university qualifications opens to all and enabling our students to obtain an internationally-recognised qualification from a quality UK university at home,” added Mason.

The partnership is aimed at advancing educational levels of the East African Community (EAC) and make the local workforce regionally and globally competitive in line with current industry demands. The University of Northampton (UN) is a British university located in Central England, and is ranked among the top 50 UK universities according to Guardian University League Tables 2015.
