Ten bodies of Ugandan soldiers killed in Somalia flown to Kampala

Ten bodies of Ugandan soldiers killed in Somalia by militant Islamist group al-Shabab have been flown to Kampala, Paddy Ankunda, army spokesman, has said.

The spokesman said the attack was a “game changer”, and al-Shabab should expect an “appropriate response”.

Twelve Ugandan soldiers were killed on Tuesday’s raid on an Amisom base in southern Somalia. Al-Shabab said it had killed 70 AU troops.
